Mark L. Heller, Senior Counsel
Email Address: mheller@nolanandheller.com

Mark graduated Harvard Law School in 1958 and then went to work for a Wall Street firm for a few years. He found the training valuable, but did not like New York City living. He returned to Albany, his home town, and together with his longtime friend, Howard Nolan, founded Nolan & Heller more than 40 years ago. It has often been said of him that "he was born to be a lawyer". In his long career, Mr. Heller has practiced in every area of the law, including complex commercial litigation. He has tried numerous cases to verdict. In recent years, he has concentrated his practice on matters involving corporate finance, especially for hi-tech start-up companies.

Mark limits his intake of new matters to those which are of particular interest to him. He is available as a "counselor" to the other lawyers in the firm, who find his experience and analytical skills of great value.
