Municipal Law and Public Finance
As nationally recognized bond counsel, the Firm's attorneys serve as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, borrower's counsel, credit enhancer's counsel and trustee's counsel in state and local public financing transactions. Our attorneys have structured and opined on general obligation and revenue bond financings including those involving education facilities, hospitals, nursing homes, adult care and other health care facilities, housing projects, manufacturing facilities, exempt facility financings, municipal debt, municipal tax-exempt leases, and water distribution and sewer facilities.
In the area of municipal law, the Firm serves as counsel to several municipalities and has served as special counsel to municipal clients in annexation matters, tax certiorari defense, pursuit of environmental claims, and general litigation matters involving complex legal and factual issues.
